DIY (Silver Embellished Hoop Earrings)

This weekend I vowed to complete some DIY projects that I’ve been thinking about for a while now, but I’ve been too consumed with the usual everyday foolishness! Needless to say I was determined this weekend, so I took a trip to my local Jo-Ann Fabrics and Micheal’s to get some supplies. The first project on the list was…Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada POP-parazzi inspired earrings. I didn’t want the same exact look – although they are SUPER fly, so I decided to add my own twist. Take a look below…

Materials
Silver or Gold Hoops
Any kind of beads or crystals of your choice

Directions

Take the beads and slide on the side where you would place the earrings in your ear whole, and voila! You’re done! Peep the finish product!

New York Fashion Week: Fly and Fab!!

As the week is coming to an end, so is NYFW 2011. SAD is an understatement, as to how I’m feeling right now, because I could not partake in the wonderful events that surrounded the city that never sleeps! Needless to say the celebs were out and about looking uber FAB! Take a glance at Hollywood’s elite in some of my favorite looks from the week’s fashion shows, parties and red carpets.

Angela Simmons
I am totally in love with this look, one-half of the apparel and sneaker duo Angela Simmons looked amazing in black ultra fitted pants, with a sheer black top, and coral blazer. To complete the color-block look, Ang paired the ensemble with cobalt blue shoe booties. By far my fav look!

Nicki Minaj
Head Barbie Nicki Minaj was spied at the Besty Johnson show front and center in typical Nicki fashion in a super colorful frock and matching accessories! I do love the color pretzel necklace! Cop one at http://onchmovement.bigcartel.com/

Beyonce & Solange Knowles
Glowing Mommy-to-be Beyonce, looked amazing along side her ever-so fashionable sis Solange as they took in the Alexander Wang Spring 2012 show.

June Ambrose
Celebrity Stylist/Hot Mama June Ambrose looked ravishing in a Pink male-esq suit with her signature frames. The “Effortless Fab” stylist looks oh-so chic and pulled together as she posed for a photo at the Y-3 Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show. This look is all kinds of RIGHT!

FASHION in a SNAPSHOT: Kanye West will Launch new Women’s clothing line..

The rumors that have been surrounding the fashion-forward rapper Kanye West have been proven to be true.
“Ye” will indeed be debuting a womens-wear line in the fall. “Louise Wilson”, a professor at British fashion school Central St. Martins, has confirmed reports that Kanye West is working on a womenswear label with British designer “Louise Goldin”. Reportedly, Kanye has been honing his craft for years by completing internships at several fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Raf Simmons and Fendi. “I think we can expect a well-considered collection, you wouldn’t expect less from a pair of professionals and I warn against dismissing it in haste.” I must say that I am excited, I most definitely would wear anything that Kanye would design, almost anything – I think ha!
