CHICAGO NATIVE “YOUNG GHOST” IS MAKING A NATIONAL MARK WITH NEW SINGLE “ROSETTA”

Anthony “Young Ghost” Williams is a talented new Rap artist and native from the Westside of Chicago. Ghost is determined to succeed and works diligently to be heard. His debut mixtape “King of Zumunda” arrives October 31st.

How did you get into the name Young Ghost?

Young Ghost: Well, I got the name from my neiborhood that’s what everybody called me. I have been through a lot and the name just stuck with me as I got older.

 

How did you get into the music industry?

Young Ghost: I use to just write a lot when I was younger. And I would be out at different places and people would tell me you need to take this serious because you have some talent. It was my step-father that encouraged me to follow my dreams.

 

Tell me about your upcoming release of mixtape “King of Zumunda”.

Young Ghost: “King of Zumunda” is fun music for everybody; it’s club street reality is strong. You heard it from me first “Young Ghost” Mixtape comes out Oct 31st.

 

Most memorable concert:

Young Ghost: I can’t say I have one particular one that stands out because each time I perform I make sure the fans get what the pay for. Also, shout out to the CPC Boys!

When can we expect to see the upcoming premiere of the “Rosetta” Video?

Young Ghost: September 2nd  it will be out and we are sending it to MTV, YouTube, World Star. It will be out there for fans to view.

What was your most memorable moment in creating “Rosetta” video?

Young Ghost: Well, I had to wear a suit. I was really getting my grown man on during the whole video. I also appreciated all the models and AAU for the support.

 

Describe the concept behind the single “Rosetta”.

Young Ghost: Basically the concept of “Rosetta” is I want to put all the ladies onto my language which is “Rosetta”.

 

What is your next single release?

Young Ghost: It might be, “Been One”, “Don’t Do Me” or              “Mo Money”.  I will know for sure which one I will release between now and next week.

Are you Indie or Major, what’s the goal?

Young Ghost: I would like to be major; but if not I’m prepared to push AAU Records until something changes.

 

Who has been the most influential person in your career?

Young Ghost: I would have to say my step-father really pushed me and he is my inspiration. Also, Jon Blu; shout out to my big brother he is a musical geniuss. We are going to show the whole world just who we are.

 

Who would you like to work with right now in the industry?

Young Ghost: Man, there are so many artist. But just to name a few Rick Ross, Jeezy and Jeremiah.

 

If you could do a remix to any song that’s out right now what would it be?

Young Ghost: I would say, Jeezy “All Right Everything”. Also, any song off Rick Ross album.

What is the number one thing you hope people get out of your music?

Young Ghost: When I make music I hope people can vibe to it. Really realate and show me love. Also, let me know if you like it and if you don’t I still love you anyway.
