DREW SIDORA CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY AND SINGLE FOR ‘JUKE IT’ WITH CELEBRITY FRIENDS IN CHICAGO!
May 7, 2010 – Chicago is definitely a staple for multi-talented native Drew Sidora seems to be the next big thing to bring more star power to the big windy city. Dubbed as Hollywoods “it girl”, pop princess of Slip-N-Slide records Drew Sidora is taking off and and fast. Along with her many Film and TV credits, Drew will soon add a new album to her already impressive resume. Her recent release release of her debut single ‘Juke it’ (produced by Lamb – Keshia Cole – Let It Go/Jazmine Sullivan-Need U Bad and the Monica’s Everything To Me) has been burning up the radio airwaves.
Drew describes how Chi-town influences her, “Chicago influences me musically and it is definitely a universal place. Artists like Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, R, Kelly are all from here and each has their own style. It is a country type city where you can find that southern hospitality like in the south. Lake Shore Drive makes you feel like you are on the west coast. Its a stew of a little bit of everywhere”. When asked what’s its like to be the first pop female vocalist on Slip-N-Slide Drew admits that its a lot of work that goes in to being a new artist on a label. “I love it because it is a challenge and when a label works really hard and go the bat for you that’s all you can ask for”. he single was showcased on the CW’s popular hit TV show Melrose Place this past fall.
In December 2008, Drew Sidora signed her record deal with iconic independent rap label Slip-N-Slide Records home to hip-hop heavyweights Rick Ross, Trina and Plies. Drew Sidora is the 1st female pop act in the history of the label. Sidora describes the lead singles and her transition from acting to music and the challenges she faces as a new R&B/pop sensation along with the inspiration behind ‘Juke It’. 
“People know me from all my TV and film projects, but I’m most excited about my music. my album will allow my fans to truly know who I am as a person. All my life experiences, good and bad!! I’m striving to entertain and inspire”.
Drew is also the recipient of the gold-selling Step Up soundtrack that included her 2 singles ‘For The Love’ a duet with platinum selling R&B male vocalist Mario and ‘Til The Dawn’. Plus, she has collaborated with many artists including Twista on past projects. For Drew Sidora’s upcoming untitled project, she enlisted producers Harold Lilly (Beyonce/Fantasia/Jamie Foxx), Drumma Boy (Drake/Jeezy) for her upcoming album slated for a tentative fall release.

As a community leader and activist, Drew Sidora has launched her foundation called Dream Makers where she empowers, educates and influences the next generation of youth through a series of workshops giving tools to pursue their dreams and prepare for the real world. Recently, Drew did the NoH8 print campaign with model/actor Sam Sarong which supports marriage rights for everyone. DrewSidora also developed her own production companies Record Breakers and Drew Sidora LLC which one her first projects Blessed and Cursed she co-starred and co-executive produced with gospel great Dietrick Haddon. The movie deals with different storylines within the church community. The film also stars Sheryl Lee Ralph, Karen Clark-Sheard, and J. Moss just to name a notable few.
